SENSORY INTEGRATION

Sensory Integration International

http://www.sensoryint.com/

Sensory Integration International (SII) is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation concerned with the impact of sensory integrative problems on people's lives. We advocate early intervention to prevent sensory inefficiencies that have the potential of contributing to debilitating social or health conditions. In an effort to enhance wellness in the general public, SII promotes education about the impact of inadequate sensory processing and its relationship to health and one's occupation. A child's occupation is play and school performance.

Sensory Integration Research & Rehabilitation Institute

SIRRI (Sensory Integration Research & Rehabilitation Institute), a Sensory Integration Learning Center, is dedicated to the use of a set of diverse programs for a wide variety of disorders. "The true test of any clinical intervention is its functional outcome. Did we improve our patient's life in any measurable way? SIRRI's search for clinical innovation will continue and is proud to offer these programs as the most unique set of tools to serve the needs of the rehabilitation community in twenty years."

We’re not all left-handed, but we do take a different approach to business. We’re all about creative solutions, information, and advice – not mass distribution of the latest gadget. In fact, since our founding in 1976, we’ve dedicated ourselves to developing and manufacturing sensory integration dysfunction (DSI) and neurodevelopmental products that help therapeutic professionals, people with special needs, their families, and other professionals, solve problems or meet new challenges.

The Ayres Clinic provides assessments for those children who clearly need a specialized form of evaluation unavailable to them through their local resources. The assessments consist of one or more of the following; standardized testing, clinical observations, medical, developmental and sensory histories, and in depth interviews with primary care givers and others who have detailed information regarding the child's performance at home, school and in the community.
